The purpose of the SSO: formation of statistical information on foreign investments in Ukraine; investments of residents abroad and about relationships within the framework of foreign investment relations to ensure the NBU's information needs for compiling indicators of direct investments in/from Ukraine, the balance of payments, determining the country's international investment position

*From the 1st quarter of 2020, the National Bank is the only person responsible for disseminating data on direct investments.
In connection with the review by the National Bank of data on direct investments for the period 2015-2019 and their publication on June 30, 2020 on the website of the National Bank (https://bank.gov.ua/ua/statistic/sector-external), the data of the state of statistical observation on investments of foreign economic activity for the period January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2019 are not relevant.

NBU on the market value of investments (shares, property, etc.) received/made by resident enterprises; NBU on the list of EDRPOU codes of enterprises that received cash from non-residents, aimed at their purchase of business entities that are residents of Ukraine, and/or in the form of cash contributions;
FSMU regarding investments received by state-owned enterprises as a result of privatization with the participation of a foreign investor;
of state registration authorities on registered foreign investments made by foreign investors on the basis of concession agreements and/or agreements (contracts) on joint investment activities (the information is used to form a set of units and a list of DSS respondents)
