Description
On January 10, 2003, Ukraine officially became the 52nd country (the first among the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States) to join the Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDS) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The accession of Ukraine became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the State Statistics Committee, the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Ukraine in the implementation of a set of preparatory works to improve the practice of disseminating financial and economic indicators of Ukraine, which were carried out during the two years prior to this event, with the active support of IMF experts. The indicators of the Special Data Dissemination Standard are posted both on the website of the State Committee of Statistics and on the website of the International Monetary Fund.
