About payment of housing and communal services by the population in December 2021

In December 2021 the population of the country paid 21.6 billion hryvnias for housing and communal services (71.1% of the sums charged for this period).

At the end of December 2021 public debt for payment for the supply and distribution of natural gas amounted to 33.8 billion hryvnias, for the supply of thermal energy and hot water - 26.6 billion hryvnias, for the supply and distribution of electric energy - 7.7 billion hryvnias, for centralized water supply and drainage - 6.4 billion hryvnias, for the management of an apartment building - 5.6 billion hryvnias, for the provision of household waste removal services - 1.3 billion hryvnias.

In accordance with the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.10.1995 No. 848 and dated 27.06.2003 No. 976 in December 2021. 4,500 contracts were concluded with the population regarding repayment of restructured debt for a total amount of 49.3 million hryvnias. The amount of payments made, taking into account long-term contracts, amounted to 35.3 million hryvnias.
