Microdata of the MICS Survey in Ukraine 2025–2026
The 2025-26 Ukraine Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) was carried out by the Ukrainian Center for Social Reforms (UCSR) as part of the Global MICS Programme under the national ownership and coordination of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (SSSU). Technical support was provided by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), with financial support of UNICEF and the Government of Germany through KfW Bank. Data collection took place during October 2025 through March 2026.
The survey data are presented in six files:
- hh.sav - survey results from the household questionnaire, including water quality test results
- hl.sav - household composition and education data
- ch.sav - data on children under 5
- fs.sav - data on children aged 5–17
- wm.sav - data on women aged 15–49
- bh.sav - birth history of women aged 15–49
The questionnaires used during the survey can be found in the Survey Findings Report of 2025–26 Ukraine MICS (Appendix E).
Geocodes, i.e., latitude and longitude, are available for each survey cluster. To ensure respondent protection, these data are not publicly available. Anonymised geocodes can be requested by contacting the Global MICS Programme (mics@unicef.org). Specific terms of use will apply.
