Geographic coverage
All regions of Ukraine, except the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and part of the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Methodology and definitions
The consumer price index (CPI, inflation) is an indicator of changes over time in prices and tariffs for goods and services purchased by the population for non-productive consumption. It is calculated monthly on the basis of price data (obtained by state statistics bodies through monthly registration of prices and tariffs on the consumer market) and data from national accounts on household final consumption expenditures for the country as a whole with further distribution (based on the results of a sample survey of household living conditions).
The core consumer price index (CPI, core inflation) is a sub-index of the consumer price index. Its construction is based on existing methodological principles for calculating the consumer price index. BISC shows stable price dynamics with minimization of short-term uneven price changes caused by supply shocks and administrative regulation.
