Salary in January 2022

The average salary (nominal) of a full-time employee of enterprises, institutions and organizations in January 2022. was UAH 14,577, which is 2.2 times higher than the minimum wage (UAH 6,500).

Compared to December, the average salary decreased by 16.5%. The reduction of accruals in January compared to the previous month occurs every year and is due to the fact that in December the accruals of one-time payments are made: bonuses based on the results of work for the year, for years of service, compensatory payments for unused vacation, etc.

Over the past 12 months (relative to January 2021), the average salary has increased by 18.2%.

Real wage index in January 2022. compared to December 2021 was 82.5%, and relative to January 2021 - 107.4%.
