Social protection of the population of Ukraine

This compilation has been prepared in an abridged version.

This is due to the fact that the State Statistics Service did not receive from the Ministry of Social Policy and the Pension Fund the full set of administrative data for 2025 regarding:

• the placement and residence of persons with disabilities in residential care facilities for the elderly and children’s residential care facilities;
• the provision of certain types of state social assistance; the provision of motor vehicles and assistive devices to persons with disabilities;
• adoption, guardianship, and custody of orphaned children and children deprived of parental care, the placement of such children in family-type children’s homes and foster families, and the provision of housing for them;
• the placement of children in children’s shelters and social rehabilitation centers for children; and so on.

Once the Ministry of Social Policy and the Pension Fund provide the information, the compilation will be updated with the relevant data.
